Knee pain....

The knee joint is the largest joint in the body.

We all at one time or another have experienced some sort of knee discomfort. Symptoms develop from every-day wear and tear on our body, overuse and injury. Knee problems and injury most often happen during sports, recreational activities, home projects and work-related tasks.

The surface of the bones inside of the knee joint is covered by articular cartilage. This helps by acting like a shock absorber similar to a car's when going over bumps in the road.

Although knee problems are usually caused from an injury there are some people that are more prone the knee problems than others. Many jobs, sports, getting older, excessive weight and arthritis all contribute to the chances of developing problems with your knees.
Check with your doctor for more information.
Maintaining flexibility is important to keep the body mobile.

Gentle stretching and walking all help with the bodies movement.
